MILD WEATHER TO CONTINUE INTO ANOTHER WEEK…FREAK SNOW STORM HITS NEW YORK!

first_imgTHE relatively mild weather of recent weeks is set to continue into another week in Co Donegal with temperatures of up to 16C at times.However we will once again see more rain with up to 40mm of rainfall predicted in the next 24 to 48 hours.And winds will pick up on Wednesday and could hit 70mph. It could be Friday before the temperatures drop to more seasonal values, with around 8C expected that day and grass frost overnight.Meanwhile the North East of the United States has been hit be a freak snow storm.Three people have died in the past 24 hours and two million homes were left without electricity.New York has been badly hit with Fifth Avenue blocked by heavy wet snow and trees pulled down in other parts of the city.
