Men’s Soccer Set For MVC Play Saturday Night Against Loyola

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men’s soccer team is set to open Missouri Valley Conference play Saturday, Sept. 17 night against Loyola at 7 p.m. at the Cownie Soccer Complex. This season, the Ramblers are off to its best start in program history after sweeping a pair of games at the NIU Adidas Invitational over the weekend. The Bulldogs and the Ramblers battled to a 1-1 double-overtime draw last season in Chicago. Loyola scored the tying goal in the 86th minute to force overtime.
