(WSVN) – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver who was behind the wheel of a taxi cab in Northeast Miami-Dade.Miami-Dade Police responded to the scene along Northeast 155th Street and West Dixie Highway at approximately 3:40 a.m., Tuesday.7Skyforce HD hovered above the scene as officers shut down the intersection.Officials said 48-year-old Jean Saint Louis was crossing the street when he was hit by a yellow Ford Crown Victoria taxi traveling southbound on West Dixie Highway. The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.Miami-Dade Fire rescue crews transported Saint Louis to a local hospital in critical condition.last_img
