Not only did the Israel Ministry of Tourism have a very successful marketing campaign in 2016 through television, newspapers, magazines and multiple digital platforms, they have also seen a growth in travel from India to Israel.Israel saw a growth of five percent in Indian arrivals during the first six months of 2016. In 2015, it achieved a growth of 13.2% by welcoming 39,529 Indian tourists as compared with 34,920 in 2014. Top destinations include Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Haifa, Dead Sea, etc. Apart from these traditionally popular destinations, Israel is also making efforts to pro-mote new destinations like Akko and Eilat, situated on the shores of Red Sea.
