True freshman Trevor Lawrence, who was named the starter over Kelly Bryant last Sunday, has been injured and is out for the rest of today’s game.To make matters worse, Clemson trails Syracuse 16-7 early in the third quarter. Bryant, meanwhile, announced he was transferring from the program during the week, so he’s not available.Chase Brice, a four-star redshirt freshman is in the game. He has played in three games this season, but never in a situation like this.Clemson could really use Bryant. Technically, he could return to the team if he is still in school, but who knows if he actually would.Would Swinney take him back?
