Issue with AIB debit cards has been resolved says bank

In a statement this afternoon, they said the issue had now been resolved.At around lunchtime today, customers reported that non-AIB ATMs and store terminals had been declining their cards. AIB responded, stating:The company had previously told customers that business transfers were delayed due to a heavy volume of transfers.The bank said that following today’s difficulties, “no customer will be out of pocket”.
