Lankan arrested in India without travel documents

A Sri Lankan has been arrested in India without travel documents, the Times of India reported.A day after Kullu police had arrested a Swiss national with drugs, two foreign nationals — one woman from Turkey and a man from Sri Lanka — were arrested with 539 LSD papers near Manikaran in Parbati valley on Thursday. The Sri Lankan national could not produce travel documents. “The accused has been identified as Umidashen, a Sri Lankan national, who was without travel documents, and a Turkish woman who was with him. They are being produced before a local court,” police said. Police said that both the accused were coming on foot from Choj village towards Manikaran when they were stopped for checking by a police patrol party.
